Make up a General Knowledge Quiz based on the non-fiction and reference books in the library. You must give some guidance on where the answers can be found (Title; page number; classification etc.). Keep a note of the answers so that you can mark them quickly!

or 2. MY FAVOURITE MAGAZINE

Give the title and details of the various types of article the magazine contains. Explain how it is planned and presented to make it look attractive. You might like to consider some of the following points:

• use of bright colours and good pictures
• bigger and more original articles
• up-to-date information
• practical advice
• free hand-outs and posters
• exclusive reviews and lists of ratings
• plenty of adverts with good prices
• the price of the magazine – value for money?
